Coastal Vacations Club Brings Training and Teaching to 75-100 Coastal Members in Nashville, TN

Presented by Scot Chatron and Stephanie Johnson, Board of Directors in attendance.

New Leadership council members were welcomed into the fold, I did not get all their names. But Lynn McAllister was one of them. Way to go Lynn.

For the whole skinny, listen to the audio podcast, here are the major important updates.

1. Grocery Card coming - go stay for a weeklong condo, print and clip coupons online to stock up the fridge there in your condo and save some money.

2. If you have an older Unlimited Travel Services Card, send it in for replacement for the updated Vendor.

3. New Level 1 Vacation from Get up and Go: 2 night 3 day, 25 locations, clear terms of use and conditions. View Sample PDF. $24 activation fee plus taxes of $2-$22 per day req. order from NB Management for $6.95. Retail Value up to $560. Four ways to activate - Mail, Fax, Online, Phone.

4. New Level 2Get Up and Go West: 4 nights/5 days in with 12 destinations, plus Las Vegas. Must combine all locations in one trip. Spend two nights in western states, then to go Vegas for final two night stay. $100 refundable deposit req (returned 30 days after trip completion), plus must cover taxes of $2-22 per day, travel any of the 7 days of the week. Final destination must be Las Vegas. $758.00 in value. View Sample PDF. Four ways to activate - Mail, Fax, Online, Phone. NB Management fee unknown.

5. New Dream Cruise for Level 3: Buy 1, get one Free 3-17 day cruises available, worldwide. Major cruise carriers include Carnival, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. NB Management s/h fee is $10 per certificate. No other info was given.

6. New All Inclusive Package for Level 3: Viva Resorts has a new look and feel. see http://www.vivaresorts.com/ for all locations. Good for 3 days, 2 nights, must cover all taxes, processing fees. Order from NB Management for $30 per glossy.

7. A new L3 Condo program was promised but could not be delivered until further testing was done with vendor. It's reported that this L3 condo cert can be used anytime, 365 days a year, at over 5000 locations, plus starts at prices as low as $297 for 7 full days in the condo.

8. Stephanie will be releasing a brand new COLOR PDF product overview done professionally with all the new changes on it some time to be determined by her. It was shown to us and it's real purdy... It will be great for retail and face to face selling. It will be posted on http://www.officialcoastaltraining.com/.

Remember the membership is constantly influx, over 60 vendors, many are changing hands, getting bought out, or going out of business. Make specific vendor requests from the shipping center if you want specific trips from certain companies. Coastal Vacations is a dynamic and constantly improving membership. Remember, we sell memberships, not vacations.

Networker Central was a major event sponsor and provided some great new tools to members with some great discounts on leads, as well as a new personal video platform, where you can send videos to leads through a contact manager. Looks interesting...

Contact Talk was presented, an all in one email autoresponder and follow up system, combined with a voicebroadcasting system which is ran from desktop software. Only on PCs, no MACs. Very technical, but can help automate many things for busy directors.

Pat Mesiti from http://www.mesiti.com/ was a great and powerful speaker. Many we motivated to buy his products as a solution for thier lack of sales and lack of belief in their business. This was a great investment in education for them all.

The simple process of closing a lead into your business:
1. Relax and Relate a while - Get to know them, their problems, dreams, hopes, reasons why
2. Discover their deepest needs and their why, then disturb them, so people can feel their pain and desire a solution out of the pain.
3. Offer solutions and answers to their big problem
4. Close them into your business as the solution and ask for the sale

Scot O. did a business to business presentation on how he walks into businesses or does fundraisers selling Coastal retail, business to business and how he is having much success with that model in the community. You either advertise your business or you advertise your business for sale. Soliciting store owners and business people mean it will cost them something, but if done right, the position you take is that your vacation package will is going to make them MORE money, not cost them more money.

A school raised over $10,000 raffling off $2 raffle tickets for trips, out of the $10,000 take, they purchased the L1 package. Great idea for local school fundraisers.

Scot O and Scot Chatron did a retail seminar in Pheonix, AZ last month, placed a full page ad in the paper and 122 people showed up. Ad was places 7 days before event. Many sales were made at the back of the room after their presentation. Scot Chatron shared many ideas on how people can do seminars successfully, with all the important details.

Leadership Luncheon was held at BB Kings, and enjoyed by all.

Next Coastal convention will be BACK in Orlando in March, 2008. Location and dates not yet available.

Make sure you come to all official Coastal live training events, this was really good for my people who came.

Announced the new date for the September event at the Nashville Convention Center September 8th. Yes, it's only a 1 day gig. They are cutting the extra stuff out and just going for the meat and solid content regarding to Coastal.

Coastal Board of Directors do not condone working with the vendors of the Coastal packages selling vouchers and certs that are NOT in the Coastal packages, and they do not condone joining the other vendors biz opps and money making ventures.

They did want to make a few more announcements, but due to contracts not being completed, could not make formal announcements, stay plugged into official BOD training calls for updates.

New Resort, New Vacations, New Destinations, New Membership Cards, New Podcast Format And New Goals

Coastal Vacations members and guests were back on Disney property, but for the very first time the venue was Disney's Swan Resort, rather than Disney's Contemporary Resort.

While one of the Board of Directors, Scot reminded the membership that they are part of the largest industry in the world at $7 trillion, Stephanie followed that up with the results of a networker's poll that told attending Coastal Vacations members that we offer all the top criteria people look for in a home based business.

New places and new ways to get there were next on the agenda. The Worldwide RV Savings Card allows members to take their lodging with them in several countries.

With the new Coastal Travel Agent Card, members will now have access to the world of consolidator airfare and cruise deals along withy many of the other unique benefits of being an independent travel agent. It's all about variety and these new membership programs expand the variety of travel options in the Coastal Vacations travel package to a new level. NOTE: There is an additional fee to use the travel agent card, as well as a monthly fee, but we think it will be better option than using Inteletravel.

Gone are the Gas Card and a Dining card that worked on a voucher/coupon basis.

The entry level (level 1) package has 3 brand new vacation destinations with Angel Fire, New Mexico, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Lake Havasu, Arizona. New vacation opportunities added to level 1 are the Orlando Getaway (includes 1 day gaming cruise), The Las Vegas Getaway and a trip that offers 50 different destinations called The Getaway To Paradise.

Added to level 2 is a new 7 day/7 night resort condo vacation with 150 different destinations.

It's just one of several methods level 2 members can book luxury timeshare condo stays without actually buying a timeshare or even sitting through one of those presentations.

Two more all inclusive vacations are added to the incentive rich level 3 package with The Tropical Getaway and The Caribbean All Inclusive 3 day/2 night exotic vacations.

Armed with improvements that have made 3 great products even more robust, guest speaker Gary Coxe helped the membership set and achieve bigger and better goals. A key for Gary is that we "make success a must."

And then Doug Firebaugh, share secrets to a commanding phone "pressence" that gets through to your prospects and helps them take notice of your offer. Phone skills are a must it seems if you work your business and buy leads.
