Testimonials. Being Deaf Didn't Stop Irma From Reaching Coastal's Top Level

Right Click Here - Use "Save Target As" to download current show MP3 File

Al began the day by introducing some members of the leadership council and then moved on to discuss the importance of finding the marketing technique that works for you. He explained how he started his business with 3 and 4 line classified newspaper ads and explained how others have great success with fax blasting, email blasting, and even home parties. The important thing is to find the one technique or combination of techniques that work for you.

As a side note the Coastal Vacations Sales Center recognizes the fact that finding the best technique for you is one of the keys to Coastal success. They credit part of the unusually high success rate of their members to the fact that they teach each new member over 170 techniques that are time tested.

Powerful testimonials were given by Joe and Irma.

Joe holds the record for the most wins as Tulane University's baseball coach. He explained how his wife closed a Coastal sale after they had boarded up their home in the path of hurricane Katrina. She closed the sale on a cellular phone, in the car, as they were on their way to Jackson Mississippi. They realized that Katrina could change their lives forever, but she would not take away their ability to earn a great living with Coastal.

Irma's testimonial brought tears to my (Dean) eyes. Born in Kiev, Ukraine she came to the United States a few years ago and learned English as a second language. She went on to graduate from college and failed to earn a living with several MLM companies before finding Coastal Vacations. After reviewing a website she was excited, but told the person explaining the business to her she had a disability and did not think she could sell Coastal. Irma is deaf. She got started with the help of her director. She communicates with prospects using a relay system and chat rooms and is now a qualified level 3 director.

The power to succeed in Coastal requires a strong belief.

1. Belief in Yourself First! I can do this!
2. Belief in your Product! Coastal will save others and myself money!
3. Belief in your ability to Prospect! I will attract the right people and say the right things to get them excited!
4. Belief in your ability to Close! I will help people get started, or use other tools or call centers to do the easy parts for me!

Afternoon Session With Scott, Tom, And Card Services

Card Services International did a self-promotional presentation with a great point. Accepting credit cards makes it easier for more of your prospects to get started with Coastal Vacations and adds credibility to your business. They will waive the $129 application fee to Coastal members starting a new merchant account until March 31, 2006. You can go to www.coastalvacationsmerchantaccount.com for more information about their services.

Scott shared his inside tips on using the seminar system to market Coastal. An interesting statistic in his presentation was that less than 2% of our population retires financially secure. Of the 2%, 74% of them are self employed. Scott also introduced the new DVD in English and Spanish.

Guest speaker Tom Goetschius explained the 4 basic personality types, how to profile them, how to sell to them and how to deal with them.

COA Network presented the duplicatable website system endorsed by the Coastal Vacations Board of Directors.

An opportunity site is offered in English and Spanish as well as retail and business incentive websites are provided. Several off line marketing tools were also discussed.

The Saturday Morining Session With Al And Gary Coxe

Right Click Here - Use "Save Target As" to download current show MP3 File
Our Saturday morning session started with Al, a familiar voice on the Board of Director's calls, explaining a brief history of Coastal.

Our product originated over 25 years ago as an exit product sold by resort properties to those that did not purchase a timeshare. Resorts still retail a travel package with just a few discount cards and trips for as much as $6000.

Al recalled his first Coastal conference with a group of less than 15 individuals.

The group now overflows one of the largest ballrooms at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The current location can accommodate up tp 4000 and the board members have plans to lease an arena after that.

Al talked about the importance of writing your goals down.

Guest speaker Gary Coxe struck a note with me (Dean) when he said Success depends on our ability to handle the tragedy that life will throw our way. He stressed the importance of belief in the products and services we market as well as having belief in our abilities.

Dean And Greg Talk About The Various Models For Success

Right Click Here - Use "Save Target As" to download current show MP3 File
Greg and I (Dean) discuss the various ways to have success with your Coastal Vacations Business.

We talk about prior conferences we have attended and what we have learned from just meeting with other successful directors.

Greg Stillman and Jeff Mills have developed two systems that have helped many members grow their businesses. www.vacationpower.com and www.wecloseyoursales.com are two great marketing systems getting rave reviews.

I discuss the marketing method I learned from another member at my first meet and greet that helped explode my business.

We discuss some of the tools available to members and how there is no limit to the number of ways to market and have success with the Coastal business.

Highlights From Friday's Meet And Greet

Right Click Here - Use "Save Target As" to download current show MP3 File
The Coastal Vacations meet and greet is always a great event. Directors meet their new members face to face for the first time and old friends in the business get together again.

This is my (Dean) third conference and it was great to see all the familiar faces and lots of new ones. Al hosts prospect calls for the Board of Directors. It was great to talk with him now that I am growing a great team and he actually knows my name because of my activity with Coastal and my participation on various calls. Scott leads many of the Board of Director's calls on prospecting and closing sales. He joined in on our conversation and thanked me for my participation on the calls.

Jeff and I had a great time visiting with several of those attending the conference. Getting the insight and ideas from members and guests at the meet and greet is what the Friday event is all about. The complimentary drinks and snacks were great. Jeff was especially impressed with the white asparagus wrapped in ham. I liked the crackers topped with salmon. Eventually we were ready for a real sit down meal. Groups formed toward the end of the meet and greet. Dinner reservations were made and the sharing of information continued.

Mills and Marino Set to Podcast Coastal Vacations Semi Annual Convention

Right Click Here - Use "Save Target As" to download current show MP3 File
Press Release:

Jeff Mills And Dean Marino, L3 Directors With Coastal Vacations Club To Podcast Highlights From Semi-Annual Conference

The first ever podcast of highlights from this month's Coastal Vacation Club conference will be hosted by successful Level 3 Directors Jeff Mills and Dean Marino. The podcast will include invaluable information for those not able to attend the event live, and especially for those considering career possibilities with the top rated home based business

Coastal Vacations Club will podcast highlights of their semi-annual worldwide membership conference to be held this month in Orlando Florida at http://www.coastalvacationpodcast.com/.

This is the first time in their 11 year history that the top rated home based business has offered podcast highlights from the conference.

Level 3 Directors Jeff Mills and Dean Marino have been named as co-hosts for the Coastal Vacations Club Podcast Show. The two successful Directors in the Coastal program often host training and Q&A conference calls for Coastal's fastest growing group, the Coastal Vacations Sales Center. The Sales Center is the original Coastal call center. They later took the Sales Center name because it better describes the extent of their services.

The podcast will originate from Walt Disney World on March 10, 11, and 12 with many shows. In addition to the unique insight of Mills and Marino, the show will also feature interviews with speakers, board members, and attendees. Coastal members are invited to seek out Mills and Marino at Friday's event for inclusion in the podcast. It will be a great way for members to create free publicity for their own business.

Coastal Vacations members live in over 60 countries around the globe. While the last two conferences have set attendance records, not all members can make the trek twice a year. The podcast gives members another way to stay in touch with the event. For those considering getting started with a Coastal home based business, the podcast will offer invaluable insight that should not be missed.

Coastal Vacations has embraced new technology over the last year and their membership sales have exploded.

The Sales Center pioneered a business model last year in which they provided live representatives to follow up and close sales for associates. Members flocked to it and competitors scrambled to compete with it and tried to copy it. The podcast is another move toward modernization for a business that started 11 years ago with just a fax on demand system and a few conference calls.

"At times Coastal was criticized for not keeping up with technology and tools to help out their directors, but now, with the Podcasting phenomenon, Coastal is definitely on the leading edge of technology and is of the first Direct Sales program to offer a podcast and I am proud to host this show with my friend Dean Marino," stated Mills.

Access to the podcast is available not only to members, but to anyone interested in acquiring more knowledge of the business and is offered free of charge at http://www.coastalvacationspodcast.com/.
